Welcome & Lecture: How did the covid-19 pandemic and distance learning change the way we teach?

Welcome to eSquirrel’s first “Digital Education Week“! We are very happy to have you. Join us in the first Lecture presented by Theresa Stingeder on the external circumstances and the learnings of the practices during the pandemic.

According to UNESCO, 174.240.920 learners worldwide have been affected by the pandemic, a lot of students being forced to stay home for more than 41 weeks. The students were moved to online classrooms from one day to the other. Neither schools nor the students have been prepared for this. Now, in May 2021 a lot of schools have re-opened. Attending class is possible again. But what has changed in this time?
